Bernie

Bernie is the third doll/puppet this summer. I think he is the best of the bunch. I knit his sweater with  a little hunch back so he is leaning forward a bit. Who stands up straight these days anyways.

Summer

Summer has gotten the best of me, or maybe work has. Here is what has become of me. I got an underwater camera and a typewriter only small amounts of time on the weekends to use them.

New Friends

My kitten inspects a duplicate. Another doll I made. A knit sweater, felt pants and sculpted face and parts. I made this being side tracked from my big painting. We all need a day off I guess.

Flash Snoot

This is a bad picture. However, I really don't like my digital flash, so I took built a cardboard grid for it to soften it up and give it more direction.

Unicorn Madlib

Little books I made on the letter press with linoleum blocks. An small edition of 13 all hand bound by me, personally. 6 pages of fill in madlib fun.

More Book

A hardcover I bound with watercolor paper. I think this my favorite. The green bookcloth shimmers orange.

For some reason my pictures are not loading on my posts.
One of my goals this summer is to go see lots of photobooths that still print on film. You can find them all at photobooth.net. There is a lot in the area.

New Photos!

A painting for my grandmother

A painting for Victor Ray Pool who brought electricity to the Appalachian valley. The trees are made of Christmas light wires and hot glue...
And thanks to Morgan I have these pretty photos to share.
