Swan tales, woohoo
Spring in Luzern means there are swans everywhere. Sitting around making a fuss. I can't get over how strange their necks are. I went on a walk along the lake and drew some.
I happen to catch one sitting on her nest. Baby swans are ridiculously cute.
As expected, after watching these creatures... I wanted one. So I made one for the up coming Upper Six Hundreds show on June 18th. It is going to be filled with amazing talented people.

Not really and an American Summer
A sneak peak from my piece that I am shipping today for the "Wet Hot American Summer" Art Show at Gallery 1988. They have a new location in Santa Monica, which means everyone on the westside should check it out. So the show opens
Friday, June 10th from 7-10PM.
I will post more later... no need to show it all now.

For Sale
I recently found out that two of the three animals I made for the Seattle Plush You show are now available through the Schmancy online shop.
The took some new pictures and wrote some lovely things in addition to the bios I gave them. So I would be pleased to find them a home. Remember the old post about them?

Kuh
Cows seemed to be roaming around in every green area bigger than my bathroom... So I sat in the shade and drew some genuine Swiss cows.

I am writing my master thesis on the sketchbook and am really interested in how different artist use/view them. If you have time to chat.. send me a mail: Dbuerli at yahoo.com
